Hello everyone from Montenegro
16:09 - Carolyn Stanley
So much of what I got in "teacher's college" had little practical application when I entered the classroom back in 1969. Being a pre-service teacher and having the chance to interact with students way before "practice teaching" would be so wonderful.

24:43 - Peggy George
thanks Sheri!!
24:48 - @plnaugle (Paula)
Love that you can take a picture of notes on a board and import into Evernote.
24:54 - Chris
My thoughts exactly. Just something else to lose.
24:56 - Peggy George
please share your links in the chat and I'll add them to the Livebinder later
25:05 - wfryer
That's why visual notetaking can be so valuable - requires cognitive processing of ideas!
25:14 - Laura G
plus the act of writing something down helps record it into memory
25:16 - Peggy George
Notability is an amazing tool!

27:29 - Carrie
I switched from Evernote to Onenote because all our school stuff is Microsoft...even the new tablets we get next year
27:46 - Carolyn Stanley
I use Evernote to capture my notes on all the Classroom 2.0 episodes, so I can go back and easily reference.
28:34 - @KincerLisa
Sharing via Google doc would also work
29:09 - Peggy George
http://www.onenote.com/ (One Note)
29:17 - Laurie Yingling
google docs would make most sense for GAFE Schools
29:26 - Carolyn Stanley
@KincerLisa - yes, Google docs is also great and collaborative - but it can get lost in the shuffle of documents unless kids organize well.
29:33 - Sheri Edwards @grammasheri
I create lesson plans in Evernote which students link to -- wherever they are and I can update easily when needed
29:38 - Peggy George
student-made tutorials are so powerful both for the learner and the student creating them!
29:58 - Peggy George
maybe Google Classroom will change that
30:03 - Sheri Edwards @grammasheri
We use Diigo for online notetaking diigo.com and for bookmarking / curaiting
30:03 - Carolyn Stanley
They used to have Google Notebook - but they discontinued it.
30:08 - @KincerLisa
I can see that - things potentially getting lost.
30:09 - Cindy Medeiros
What about LiveBinders?
30:14 - Susie @shighley
And they're rolling our a new LMS type google service int
30:18 - Sheri Edwards @grammasheri
Diigo has a teacher console
30:19 - Susie @shighley
In the fall
30:32 - @KincerLisa
in Diigo can you take notes and work together?
30:32 - @plnaugle (Paula)
I was wondering about that Peggy. Hopefully Google Classroom will provide that option.
30:49 - Peggy George
that's an authentic quiz!!! :-) see if they can find their notes later
30:52 - Sheri Edwards @grammasheri
In Diigo you can share notes
30:52 - A, Smith
our schools uses edmodo for sharing, but only grades 3 & above
30:54 - @KincerLisa
So was I, Paula and Peggy!
30:56 - @bcdtech Maureen
I wonder what the new "google classroom service" will offer? More collaboration? Any one know?

35:58 - Carolyn Stanley
