Specific Program LinksBloglines
Google Reader is particularly suited to viewing the contents of many RSS feeds at one sitting on one screen and displays RSS much like your email. It has the best search and flagging system. It has a public facing blog like publishing platform for shared items; its limitations are that the reader would only see the most recent posts. Here is mine: Michael Staton's Shared Items
Netvibes
Netvibes has a nice feel to it and provides a way to paginate your views so that you can put feeds into different bins and then read them like a newspaper. It is the fastest and smoothest of the flash-based reader. It has a public facing publishing platform called "Universe" which allows me to post all the blogs I'd like to share with the public.
